This picture was taken on the way back from The Lion Inn at Blakey Ridge, a 16th century pub which is situated in the middle of the North York moors. It's a great place for live music and it's very cosy in the winter...in fact it's very traditional for people to deliberately travel up to the ridge-top pub before an impending snow storm in order to get snowed in and enjoy the pubs facilities and isolation (it has several rooms to accommodate people staying overnight). Anyway, it's become a favourite of the family and this was taken on a gated road on the way back.
